A few weeks ago I made one for Orange review of the Parrot AR Drone quadricopter in which we told you that this small device cannot rise more than 6 meters high due to some limits imposed by the manufacturer. A friend wanted to prove me the opposite, so he modified the firmware of the device, removed the limit and raised it "to the sky" until they lost the connection with the hotspot of the device which was carried by the wind 3 kilometers from the place of where the filming started. Interestingly, the device only had 25% of the battery and was found empty somewhere in a field in Suceava.
The good part is that the device still works, but I don't think it will ever reach that high again. For those interested, the device costs €320 and can be bought from Orange.
