sn0wbreeze 2.5 available, untethered jailbreak and unlock on iOS 4.3.1

sn0wbreeze is the only program for Windows that allows us to make a custom ipsw that keeps the baseband intact and jailbreaks our terminal. A few minutes ago iH8sn0w updated sn0wbreeze to version 2.5 which includes the untethered exploit from redsn0w and PwnageTool and makes untethered jailbreak on iOS 4.3.1. Besides the fact that we can do untethered jailbreak on Windows, sn0wbreeze also allows us to install ultrasn0w compatible with iOS 4.3.1, so you will be able to unlock without problems because the version of ultrasn0w in Cydia does not work with iOS 4.3.1 for now.

This new version of sn0wbreeze works with all terminals regardless of bootrom/baseband, except iPad 2. You can follow this tutorial to make a custom ipsw with sn0wbreeze, the steps are the same, only the iOS version you need to download is different.

UPDATED: It seems that iH8sn0w recommends waiting for the update to ultrasn0w that the Dev Team will release, but until now users have been able to use the patch from sn0wbreeze to unlock.
