Although many were probably expecting new versions of Mac OS X Lion or iOS 5, Apple has released a new version of Mac OS X 10.6.8 for Mac application developers. As before, Apple asks developers to focus their tests on the following areas: AirPort, Graphics Drivers, Mac App Store, Networking, QuickTime and VPN. The new version of Mac OS X can only be downloaded by the developers of applications for Mac OS X from the dedicated account on the Apple website.
