How Apple can convince you to give up app piracy

Yesterday it appeared news very important that was easily overlooked by many. In Taiwan, Apple gives users the opportunity to ask for their money back within 7 days of purchasing an application. Apple was forced by the government of Taiwan to introduce this measure and to everyone's surprise the company gave in, although Google has not yet done so. For Apple it is a first considering that no other country has such a policy, although it allows users to ask for money back on applications if they have good reasons to do so.

Although the rules regarding the return of money are not public, I assume that it is a measure similar to ours which allows us to return any product bought online within a maximum of 10 days from the purchase, regardless of the reason. Through this change in its policy, Apple has set a precedent that many will take advantage of to force the company to take similar measures in other countries. The USA, Great Britain, France, Italy, Japan could be the next countries where Apple could change its policy and if it will be so then anyone could return applications at their discretion. Such a measure would considerably reduce the number of those who hack applications because now they will have no reason to do so since they can buy a game that they will surely finish in 7 days and probably won't want to play it anymore.

Would such a measure convince you to give up hacking applications? If not, what kind of measure would convince you?
