In the video clip above we have PROVEN an iOS implementation of Swype by Ryan Petrich. Before him another developer port Swype on iOS, but in a more rudimentary way. Now this developer's version has been updated and works exactly like Ryan Petrich's version and is compatible with both iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad tablet. If before we didn't see that blue stripe between the letters, now we have it available in the application and with its help we can find out which letters we typed.

The inclusion of the tracking line is the only one news implemented but is one of the most important elements of the new tweak. The CEO of the company that developed the Swype typing system say that the unofficial version released for iOS does not contain all the functions found in the version for Android and that unfortunately the performance of the tweak is not up to the official version. Swype will not be released on iOS until Apple gives the developer company access to the iOS keyboard APIs.
