Chinese authorities discover another 22 fake Apple stores in China

In China, the authorities seem to be quite dedicated to the campaign to discover fake Apple stores and yesterday they announced that they have also discovered another 22 such stores only in the Kunming area where the first clones were discovered a few weeks ago. The Administration for Industry and Commerce in China carried out these investigations as well as a few days ago he obliged store owners to raise any distinctive sign that would indicate that that store is affiliated with the Apple company or is an authentic Apple store.

The Chinese government agency has announced that it will open a phone line where anyone can call and report the existence of a clone of an Apple store or a store that sells Apple products posing as a partner of the company. I don't know if the Chinese authorities have ever been so involved in helping an American company to solve the problems with the stores that copy their identity, but I for one did not initially think that Apple would solve much in China. On the surface, the Chinese seem to be interested in stopping the phenomenon of Apple's copyright infringement, but so far no fake store has been closed, so everything could be just a "proof of strength" and nothing more.
