Apple promotes applications compatible with the new Mac OS X Lion

Almost a month after the launch of the Mac OS X Lion operating system, Apple begins to promote the applications from the Mac App Store that have implemented some of the applications that know how to take advantage of the novelties available in the new operating system. Of course, Apple made some banners that they present on the first page of the Mac App Store, and the section where these applications are found is called Enhanced for OS X Lion. There you can find applications that work in full screen, applications that allow users to use multitouch gestures to control them plus many other novelties.

In this way, Apple promotes updated applications after the release of a new version of an operating system and after the official release of iOS 5 we will also see special sections in the App Store where applications that have implemented the new APIs will be promoted. This kind of promotion is very good in the App Store considering that the process of discovering new applications is very difficult, Apple has not implemented a very effective application filtering process and in general many newly launched applications go unnoticed without promotion on the web for because they don't have anything like that in the App Store.
