The two have never spoken or met and Abdulfattah John Jandali has not made any effort to look for his son until now.

Abdulfattah John Jandali is 80 years old, he is originally from Syria, but the decision to give Steve Jobs for adoption belonged to his girlfriend who gave birth to Steve Jobs secretly and gave him up for adoption without anyone knowing. Although Abdulfattah John Jandali claims that he would have wanted to raise his son, at the moment he is not willing to call Steve Jobs even if the latter suffers from an illness that could end his days at any time.

In 1955, Jandali's girlfriend Joanne Simpson became pregnant, and although he wanted to marry her, he says her family would not allow it.
"I was very much in love with Joanne," he said. "But sadly, her father was a tyrant, and forbade her to marry me, as I was from Syria. And so she told me she wanted to give the baby up for adoption."
Steve Jobs is a genius, a visionary who had an unfortunate start in life but ended up being loved by millions of people and his products are enjoyed by hundreds of millions of people around the world.
