The MacBook Air with a 15-inch screen was supposed to be presented by Steve Jobs at the end of 2010

As all rumors related to Apple products have a grain of truth, the one related to the possible launch of a new MacBook Air with a 15-inch screen is apparently real. In 2010, Apple released a completely redesigned version of the MacBook Air, introducing the 11-inch model for the first time but leaving on the test table the 15-inch model. Apple had prepared a 15-inch model of the MacBook Air that looks exactly the same as the current models, it had mostly the same components but had some connecting elements that did not properly support the weight of the screen, so Apple gave up on launching it.

Practically for this reason, the 15-inch model of the MacBook Air has not yet appeared on the market, although there are employees in Cupertino who use these products without problems. Although the MacBook Air was updated this summer, Apple seems to have not solved the production problems of the new model and the 15-inch version seems to be ready for a release during 2012. This information indicates that a slim version of MacBook Pro is still far from reality, although it would have been extremely well received by all users.
