Microsoft willing to \"bribe\" store employees to sell smartphones with Windows Phone

Although Windows Phone is the most promising operating system for mobile terminals, consumers do not seem to be interested in it and Microsoft must become more and more creative with its promotion. According to some information obtained from Microsoft employees, the American company would be willing to "bribe" store employees in the US to recommend Windows Phone terminals instead of Android smartphones or iPhones. Microsoft would apparently be willing to pay $10-$15/device to every employee who sells a terminal with Windows Phone 7 and the reward system is more than generous.

Included in the plan are sales incentives for retail workers, aimed at getting them to finally start recommending Windows Phone as an alternative to Android and iPhone. The amount of payments is $10 to $15 per handset balance, depending on the number balance, for some handset models.

Microsoft and Nokia have prepared approximately 200 million dollars for the promotion of Windows Phone terminals in the US, but the rewards will be offered regardless of which Windows Phone smartphone is sold. Microsoft's idea is not new, but it shows the degree of desperation the company has reached to promote its smartphones at the expense of its direct competitors.
