On January 24, 1984, Steve Jobs was on stage at an Apple conference to present the Macintosh, one of the legendary products of the Cupertino company. 28 years later the Mac is still around and doing very well, but now the device is available in many more forms. The Apple company became famous thanks to its Macs and today Macs generate a good part of Apple's sales and every year more and more people are interested in buying the product that Steve Jobs thought of and designed to which he contributed three decades ago.

This is the first "anniversary" of the Mac that Steve Jobs is not attending because the legendary CEO died on October 5 after a long battle with a rare form of cancer.
