At the moment we live in a digital world where the internet is the medium through which we communicate with most of the people in our lives. An American website considers, rightly, that the Internet can also be used to report crimes/accidents to the police or other state bodies, so through the CrimePush.com website and the CrimePush application, it gives users the opportunity to anonymously report this kind of events . The application allows the recording of movies, pictures or conversations that can be sent to the police or any other competent bodies and could help them solve cases or save a life.
There are other times when inconvenience or fear of reprisal prevents one from reporting an incident. That is when CrimePush is desperately needed. CrimePush allows more than 100 million smartphone users the opportunity to become the eyes and ears of authorities.
The application offers users the option of asking for help without attracting anyone's attention and in certain cases the information provided by them, even anonymously, could help a person in danger. The application for iOS is available for free, it only works in the USA for now, but I for one think that the idea behind the project is excellent and should be expanded to many more countries around the world.
