Mass Effect Infiltrator will be available on the iOS platform

Mass Effect is one of the most popular third person shooters available for consoles and PCs and soon EA Games will bring a new version of the game to the iOS platform as well. During a recent EA Games conference announced that Mass Effect Infiltrator will be available for iDevices in the near future and the game will have a close connection with Mass Effect 3: Galaxy at War. The new game will offer users missions in which they will have to rescue prisoners from a Cerberus base and discover evidence of war crimes, and their results will be locked in the Galaxy at War platform.

Take the all-out galactic war in Mass Effect 3 on-the-go with Infiltrator, a fully-featured iOS third-person shooter showcasing stunning graphics and authentic weapons and powers from the Mass Effect series. Inspired by the deep and immersive Mass Effect 3 universe, in Infiltrator players will help to free prisoners from a hostile Cerberus base and will receive rewards for collecting evidence of Cerberus' crimes along the way. Every completed rescue and intelligence discovery in Infiltrator will increase a player's Galactic Readiness rating directly through the Galaxy at War system in Mass Effect 3.

Mass Effect Infiltrator will be developed by Iron Monkey Studios, the company behind the game Dead Space which had a great success in the App Store. Of course, there is no definite date for the release of the game, but as soon as it is available, I will let you know.
