Uninstall Messages and reinstall iChat in Mac OS X Lion

This week Apple launched an application called Messages which is available in beta version and which allows us to communicate with any iDevice that has iMessage active. The application replaces the old iChat but keeps all its functions but unfortunately generates problems for many people. In this idea, many users thought to uninstall the application and return to the old iChat, at least until Apple builds a 100% functional Messages application for everyone.

Uninstalling is extremely simple, simply open the Messages application and in the status bar click on Messages and then on Uninstall Messages beta and you will see the image below.

By pressing the button install you will uninstall the Messages application and automatically reinstall the iChat application. Meanwhile the Mac will reset to implement all the changes. After the reboot, you will have the iChat application reinstalled and functional on your Mac.
