Could the iPad tablet refuse to charge if you run certain games?

Those from Consumer Reports, a famous organization that tests all kinds of electronic devices, checked the iPad 3 tablet to see if it gets hotter than the iPad 2 tablet. tESTS they stated that the temperature difference between the two tablets is quite large but bearable for users, work also confirmed by Apple. Leaving aside the temperature, those from Consumer Reports claim that the iPad 3 tablet stopped charging when they tested the Infinity Blade II game, in fact the tablet's battery is discharging instead of charging.

We also noticed that the new iPad wasn't charging while the game was running and it was plugged in. In fact, the battery continued to drain. It charged normally, however, when we weren't running a game.

Although they claim that the tablet was connected to a power source during the test, it is not specified whether the tablet was connected directly to an outlet using its own battery or to a computer. If it was connected to a computer, there is a possibility that not enough energy was transmitted through the cable and for this reason the battery would stop charging during the game. If the tablet is connected directly to an outlet using the battery then there are no reasons for the loss of autonomy while you charge it and play.
