Although the Apple website in Romania lists the Vodafone telephone operator as the only one that offers internet "subscriptions" for the iPad tablet, in reality the situation is different because Orange has been doing exactly the same thing since last year. Unfortunately, both operators only have one Internet "subscription" for the iPad, but Vodafone announced its intention to launch a new one today and Orange will probably do the same in the near future for its subscribers. At the moment, you have from Orange and Vodafone the following prepaid mobile internet offers specially made for the iPad tablet:
- Orange – 1 GB for €7 and speeds up to 21.6 Mbits;
- Vodafone - 2 GB for €11, but the speed at which the connection to the Internet is made is not specified.
Of course, both mobile phone operators offer you the possibility to use the real iPad on your tablet mobile internet subscriptions but Orange is the only operator that offers browsing speeds of up to 43 Mbits again I have shown you here how fast is their network. When the new subscriptions for iPad 3 will be launched, I will inform you in a separate article, but you will still have the maximum speed with Orange.
