Foxconn produces fewer iPad tablets after improving working conditions in its own factories

In recent months, both Apple and Foxconn have been criticized for the way the employees who assemble iDevices for the company from Cupertino are treated, and now the first measures aimed at improving working conditions have recently been taken. Unfortunately for Apple, the implementation of these measures results in a decrease in the efficiency of the assembly lines and in the future much fewer iPad tablets will be produced by those from Foxconn. However, not only the short working hours would be a problem for Apple because it seems that its partners are not able to deliver enough Retina Display for production, so we are talking about two problems that will generate long delivery times for users.

Demand for Apple's new iPad remains strong, but production of the device has reportedly been limited by the supply of Retina displays, as well as a new focus on employees at Foxconn that has resulted in worker hours being cut. Analyst Shaw Wu with Sterne Agee aimed to quash some investor concerns on Wednesday that demand for the new iPad is waning. That's not true, he said, as his checks within Apple's supply chain have found that the company continues to have strong interest in its latest touchscreen tablet.

In conclusion, Apple thanks the people who complain about the hard working conditions in Foxconn's factories, but apparently gives up part of the profit, but I for one believe that everything is done just to calm the world because major changes will not take place.
