Apple ranks 3rd in the list of mobile phone manufacturers

In Q1 2012 (Q2 for Apple) they were sold 35.1 million iPhones globally, only 2 million less than Apple had sold in the previous fiscal quarter. The performance of the American company places it, in this fiscal quarter, in 3rd place in the top sellers of mobile phones, right behind those from Nokia and Samsung. Compared to the previous fiscal quarter, Apple's market share increased by only 0.1%, but if we talk about the same period last year, then the market share increased by 88.4%.

Samsung seems to be the biggest seller of mobile phones, stealing the first place from Nokia, but these data represent simple estimates made by an American company, Samsung refusing to provide detailed sales figures. In the next fiscal quarter, Apple expects to register a decrease in sales of iPhone terminals, but I don't think that ZTE could sell more than Apple, and LG is currently far from the performances it had in the past.
