After Pebble si Meta watch, a new smart watch called cookoo, and its purpose is to retrieve the notifications of our smartphones. The watch has a very simple interface that displays only 6 icons, but each of these icons corresponds to a certain type of notification. When our smartphone displays a certain notification, it will be taken over by the Cookoo watch and we will know what awaits us when we open the iPhone, having the option to ignore the phone if we do something important.

Have you ever missed a call because you couldn't hear your phone? Or found yourself constantly checking for a new text, email, or Facebook message? The cookoo watch will notify you when something happens on your phone in real time—even if you can't hear, see, or reach it. The Connected App keeps you in control of the alerts and notifications you receive on the cookoo watch. Use the default settings or customize your own based on your lifestyle. Select which notifications you want to receive and whether you want to be notified by an icon, beep, or vibration.

Cookoo works with the help of an application for iOS, and that application allows you to manage the type of notifications you receive, but also the way in which you are notified by the clock. The idea of Cookoo is to always keep you up to date with the notifications on your smartphone, but in a less intrusive way and I'm sure there are many people who want something like that. The interesting part is that this Cookoo would not need to be recharged, but its developers do not say what technology they use to achieve this. Cookoo is currently a kickstarter project, but it managed to raise almost half of the amount needed to be developed and I think that by the end of the campaign it will manage to raise more than it needs.

With the Connected App, you can configure alerts for:

  • Incoming and missed calls
  • Text/SMS messages
  • Emails
  • Facebook chats and messages
  • Reminders

… And more!
