A few months ago, Tim Cook and the CEO of Samsung met in the US to discuss a possible amicable settlement of the legal disputes regarding the infringement of some patents, but of course no agreement was reached. Because those meetings did not have any notable results, the judge presiding over other trials between the two companies he decided to call them of us the two presidents to discuss the issues raised. This meeting took place two days ago and for now it is not known what the outcome of the discussions was, but we will probably find out the "spicy" details in the following days.
The lawsuits between the two companies were for many weeks on the front pages of newspapers all over the world and iyesterday we told you that Apple was obliged to inform its customers in Great Britain that Samsung had not infringed its patents. It is difficult to say how the processes will evolve, but it is as clear as possible that both companies gain a lot from them.
