During the last evening Apple has officially released iOS 6 for iDevice owners and the new version of the operating system is not so good for those who want to jailbreak. In an article from the Dev Team they warned us that an update to iOS 6 could lead to the impossibility of downgrading devices with the A5/A5X chip, and the recommendation is that everyone stay on iOS 5.x until a jailbreak solution for iOS 6 is released .
My recommendation is to stay with iOS 5.x for now because it is not known when a jailbreak solution will be available for you and the Dev Team is in no rush to develop one. Even if the Chronic Dev team keeps their word and develops an untethered jailbreak solution for us, the development process will take several months, during which you will have to stay without a jailbreak. iOS 6 is currently "against" those who want to jailbreak, but the situation will be fixed soon and with a little patience.
