In the morning of October 5, 2011, I woke up with an inbox full of emails announcing the death of the man who founded and popularized Apple, Steve Jobs. Initially, I thought it was some famous internet joke, but I quickly realized that the news is available on all media channels and only then did the thought take shape that the visionary Steve Jobs had passed away. I won't be a hypocrite and I won't say that this was the saddest day of my life, but a strong feeling of sadness settled in my heart for a few days. For me, Steve Jobs was not a person we idolized, but his passing affected me to a certain extent and I know that many people around the world felt it much harder.

Immediately after the death of Jobs, theories began to appear according to which Apple will enter a decline, go bankrupt, and I think you know the continuation, but as usual the bad mouths did what they know best... Steve Jobs had left his job by the CEO of Apple two months before the tragic event, but that did not stop him from overseeing everything that happens there and this can still be seen. Apple hasn't released any product that Jobs hasn't overseen up to a certain point and it was normal to be like that, because Apple products are developed at least a year before they reach the market.

iPad 3, OS X Mountain Lion, the new Macs, iOS 6 si iPhone 5 they are the last Apple products that Jobs worked on and that were launched after his death, and they turned out to be a real success. In a year without Jobs, Apple grew extremely much, both in terms of receipts/profit, and in terms of share price or monetary reserve. In a year without Jobs, Apple managed wonderfully, but the influence of the former CEO is still felt in Cupertino and only in a year we will see what Apple can do without the guidance of its famous leader. Apple can become even stronger or enter the role of Nokia or RIM companies, but time will decide them all and not the analysts who rarely predict anything true.

Technicalities aside, Steve Jobs had built a culture around Apple, Steve Jobs had millions of fans all over the world and that helps Apple to sell, Steve Jobs had turned Apple into a cool company, with expensive but desirable products, and this could disappear in time. At the moment there is no other Steve Jobs at Apple, the company's conferences have become monotonous, dry, and without another strong leader, I don't know how many will believe the marketing behind the American company's products. Steve Jobs was a visionary, an innovator, a free spirit, different, who did what he wanted and managed to change the world that didn't even know what it wanted, and these are the things that unfortunately disappeared with him.
