Last month, all three major mobile operators have purchased licenses to open 4G LTE networks in our country, all have purchased space on the 1800 MHz band, which is compatible with the 4G LTE modem of iPhone 5, and today I found out that at least one of the networks is compatible with this device. To be honest, I think that both Vodafone, Orange and Cosmote will have networks compatible with this terminal, but I certainly found out that a network of an important operator can be accessed from the terminal iPhone 5.
I'm talking here only about the A1429 version of the iPhone 5, the A1428 version being incompatible with the 4G LTE networks in our country, so if you bought an iPhone 5 from the USA you won't be able to use it, but if you bought one from Europe, then you shouldn't there are problems. Vodafone announced today that it will launch the first 4G LTE network from our country, it seems to be dedicated only to those who want internet at high speeds, so there is a chance that this 4G LTE compatibility of iPhone 5 (and other smartphones) will be useless in our country at first.
