Apple still can't produce enough iPad Mini tablets to meet market demand

iPad Mini it was launched almost two months ago on the market, and Apple still cannot cover the demand due to the problems that its partners have. In all the company's stores, tablets and screens are delivered a few days/weeks after placing an order I am the source the whole problem. It seems that the suppliers of touch panels cannot produce enough components for the factories that assemble the iPad Mini, and for this reason the tablet is hard to find in stores.

iPad mini shipments have been short global demand, and shipments in the fourth quarter of 2012 are estimated at eight million units, according to Taiwan-based supply chain makers. Taiwan-based makers have prepared 10-12 million iPad mini's worth of components for shipping in the fourth quarter, the sources indicated. However, supplies of touch panels have been insufficient, the sources pointed out. Therefore, only eight million iPad minis are expected to be shipped in the quarter.

Despite these problems, it seems that Apple could sell 8 million iPad Mini tablets to consumers, but if they had enough units available, the figure would probably be up to 50% higher. The iPad Mini turns out to be a real success, despite the fact that many people did not receive it that well and for Apple we are talking about billions of dollars in revenue and profit.
