Apple hires engineers who would integrate iDevices with car multimedia systems

Although Steve Jobs would have wanted to revolutionize cars at some point, iCar- doesn't seem to come close to reality, but Apple intends to to collaborate with various car manufacturers to better integrate their iDevices with car multimedia systems. The company is looking for people specialized in this and it seems that in the future our terminals will either be natively integrated into the cars of some manufacturers, or will contain additional functions when used with certain vehicles.

Apple is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Manager to drive iPod/iPhone/iPad integration testing with car stereos. In this role you will be a hands-on manager, guiding the team to test car stereo compatibility with iOS products.

At the moment there are enough cars that allow the connection of iPods or have integrated the Siri Eyes Free system, but Apple might want to offer some more functions to motorists, but for now no one knows what it would be. To be honest, I don't think it would hurt to see iPad tablets that control the car's multimedia systems and that would allow drivers to use the turn-by-turn navigation system, but everything is still in the development stage.
