Icon Sash Color is a mod released last night in Cydia, and with its help we can change the indicator that marks the new applications in Springboard. This indicator was implemented starting with iOS 6 and in the case of each recently installed application in Springboard, it displays a small banner with the text New. That banner tells us that the application has been installed recently, but also that it has not yet been accessed by us. Through Icon Sash Color we can only change the color of that indicator, and if you look at the image above you will understand how the changes will look.
