62 million iDevices were sold in Q1 2013

According the financial results announced by Apple last evening, 62.6 million iDevices were sold by the company in the first quarter of 2012, a substantial increase compared to the same period last year. 37.4 million iPhone-s, 19.5 million tablets iPad and 5.7 million iPods were delivered by Apple to its own customers, another 20 million terminals remaining in the distribution channel. If Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), it would have been like Samsung, then it would have said that it sold almost 50 million iPhones, taking into account those in the distribution channel, but this is another story.

In the image above you have a presentation of the sales of iDevices for several fiscal quarters from their launch until now, and for now Apple is setting a new record for sales of iPhones/iPads for the first quarter of a year. Despite the fact that profit fell for the first time in the last decade, Apple continues to record strong sales for such a period of the year, a sign that for now consumers are not attracted by the competition.
