The director of Google Maps attacked Apple Maps during Google I/O

In the Google I/Oof last night Google presented a whole suite of new functions for the Maps service, the company also announcing the launch of a version for iPad of the application. Among the information provided to the public about the news implemented in Google Maps, Daniel Graf, director of the service he didn't forget to throw an arrow towards Apple and its service Apple Maps. The principal Google Maps he wanted to specify that the maps offered by Google are accurate, unlike those of Apple which do not offer the same accuracy.

As most of you probably heard, last December, we launched Google Maps on the iPhone. It has been a tremendous success. The feedback has been very positive. People called it sleek, simple, beautiful, and — let's not forget — accurate.

It was normal to see something like this, considering that Apple had numerous problems generated by the accuracy of its maps, but also because Apple did not shy away from mocking Google when it had the opportunity. At the moment, Google Maps is the most advanced map system available for free and Apple Maps seems to be years away from being able to match it.
