iOS 7 FaceTime Audio – Apple allows us to make VoIP calls through FaceTime

Starting from iOS 7 all iDevice owners had the possibility to make calls VoIP voice over FaceTime, this option being unavailable in the past. Called FaceTime Audio, the function allows us to call any contact in the phonebook, with FaceTime active, using an Internet connection, the call being voice only, consuming much less data traffic and being much clearer than normal GSM calls. Calls can be initiated either from the Contacts application by pressing the receiver button in the FaceTime head, or through the new FaceTime application.
