Background App Refresh is a new feature launched together with iOS 7 by those from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, allowing users to automatically update information from applications in the background, so that when they open them, they display the most recent data. It seems that in some applications users are kicked out of the services offered by them once every few hours, so they have to re-enter their login data in those applications. The developers of the Mailbox application have made the decision to abandon the system Background App Refresh to solve user problems and it seems that this solution has worked so far.
If we are really talking about a general problem of the system Background App Refresh, then Apple will have to launch iOS 7.0.1 si iOS 7.0.2 to solve the problem for all users, so it remains to be seen how many people will complain about its existence to motivate Apple to solve it.
