Not long after the launch of the tablet iPad the first rumors announcing the "death" of PCs began to appear, and although no one believed them at the time, they turned out to be true. In just two years, the tablet iPad managed to transform the positive growth of sales of PCs in the ashes, and the graph above proves this. In practice, we are talking about a significant decrease in the sales of PCs in the last year and a half, in the last fiscal quarters they decreased, on average, by 10% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Windows 8, market saturation, the state of the global economy and the tablet iPad are brought into discussion by those who talk about the declines in terms of PC sales and the numbers are worrying for many. It is true that in the last year most users have started to turn to tablets that are much easier to use and much cheaper, in certain cases, and the future does not look so great for PC manufacturers.
