Steve Wozniak wants Apple and Google to have a closer collaboration

Steve Wozniak, the famous co-founder of the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), and recent critic of products from Cupertino, spoke in an interview given to the BBC about technology and what he wants from it Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),. For starters, Wozniak claims that the voice command recognition system available in Android OS is superior to Siri by the simple fact that it has direct access to the Google search engine. Continuing, Wozniak says that he would like to see in iPhones many functions that are currently only available in Samsung terminals, stating that a partnership concluded between Apple and the Koreans would be extremely beneficial.

Sometimes I say 'Go to Joe's Diner' and [Siri] doesn't know where Joe's Diner is. And very often I find out that Android does. That is actually the future of intelligence probably for computers getting smarter and getting artificial intelligence. I wish to God that Apple and Google were partners in the future. I believe you should have a world where you've got to license something at a fair price. There are good things I see on Samsung phones that I wish were in my iPhone. I wish Apple would use them and could use them, and I don't know if Samsung would stop us. I wish everybody just did a lot of cross-licensing and sharing the good technology, all our products would be better, we'd go further. I do wish they were more compatible.

Much more beneficial, in his opinion, would be a partnership concluded between Apple and Google for the mutual use of the services offered by each one separately, this being done until recently. Apple gave up Google Maps and Google Search for Siri, removed the native YouTube application from iOS and at the moment a close strategic partnership between the two companies seems impossible, but Wozniak can aim at whatever he wants and no one can stop.
