The writer of the only authorized biography of Steve Jobs believes that Google is a much more innovative company than Apple

Walter Isaacson is the only writer who managed to convince Steve Jobs to allow him to write an authorized biography of the former Apple CEO, and now he's revealing some of his company-related thoughts. In an interview awarded to the famous CNBC television, Isaacson stated that Google is a much more innovative company than Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, he bringing into discussion the acquisition of Nest Labs by Google, but also the launch iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C in the network of the largest mobile phone operator in the world, China Mobile.

While acknowledging the China Mobile partnership is a "big deal" for Apple, he said Google-Nest exemplifies the "amazingly strong integrated strategy that Google has to connect all of our devices, all of our lives, from our car, to our navigation system , to how our garage doors are going to open." Fadell was one of the team that created the iPod. He was very deep into the Apple culture... when Apple was so innovative. I think Steve Jobs would have wanted as the next disruptive thing to either have wearable-like watches or TV, an easy TV that you can walk into the room and say put on 'Squawk Box' ... or disrupt the digital camera industry or disrupt textbooks .

Isaacson claims that the acquisition of Nest Labs by Google is part of an extraordinary strategy of the company to interconnect all the devices that are part of our lives, something that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), for now he doesn't. Moreover, he makes it clear that the lack of innovation within Apple has led many employees to leave the company, Tony Fadell, the former CEO of Nest Labs, being given as an example. Isaacson says that Apple needs to launch great products in 2014 to stay on top of innovators, but it remains to be seen what the company has in store.

Finally, Isaacson claims that, in his opinion, Steve Jobs would have wanted Apple to launch revolutionary new products in the television industry, or perhaps even in the smartwatch segment, and Apple has some interesting news prepared in these areas.
