Romania and a possible Apple Store

For years, there have been rumors that the launch of one is certain Apple Store in Romania, but year after year Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), focuses its attention on other, much more important markets. I know many of you wish we had one Apple Store open in our country and I assure you that this will happen at one point or another, but probably many of you will be old when we get to this point. Reasons for postponing the opening of a Apple Store in Romania they can be found easily, but among them there is only one extremely important one that holds Applit's far, the income is low.

Although in Romania there are many iDevices and a small to medium number of Macs, for now our country does not sell enough Apple products to deserve the attention of those in Cupertino. If we sit and think that countries like Brazil or Turkey only now have a physical Apple Store, even though they have a much larger population than Romania, much more tourists and much more money available for such purchases, you will easily realize that our waiting will continue for a long time to come.

Although our Hungarian neighbors have had an Apple Online Store for almost 2 years, they don't have a physical Apple Store yet, but it probably won't be long until they have one. The opening of that Apple Store Online marked the first step towards the opening of a physical store and in Romania the same thing will happen in a few years. As the sales of iDevice/Macs will increase, and they increase from year to year, Apple will at some point open an online store and will practically kill the local resellers, but everything will be very carefully calculated.

If I had to guess, I would say that it will take at least 2-5 years until we have an Apple Online Store in our country and it will take more to see a physical store, but maybe I'm wrong and Apple will pay more attention to us soon.
