Week I told you that Samsung paid a baseball player to take a picture with the American president Barack Obama, that picture being then used by Samsung to promote Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The American president did not have a promotion contract concluded with Samsung, so the White House lawyers contacted the representatives of the Korean company to discuss the legal implications of using that picture for a purpose unknown to the president.

Being asked if Samsung will be sued because of this picture, the chief adviser to the American president, --Bob Schieffer, stated that the lawyers will try to solve the problem, but did not rule out such an action. If a lawsuit is eventually reached, this would probably be the first time that such an action would be brought by the White House in court against a company.
