Skype is one of the most popular VoIP call and video call services, and in the course of yesterday the company Microsoft announced that it will no longer offer support for older versions of the application dedicated to OS X and Windows. We are talking about Skype 6.14 for Mac, the application will refuse users to log in to its services until it is updated to the latest version, i.e. 6.18.
No one knows yet why Skype chooses to force Mac owners to upgrade to the latest version of its own application, but the reasons matter less now. The Skype for Mac application is available for free in the Mac App Store.
