iOS 8 – BEWARE of third-party keyboards!

I told you today how you can install third-party keyboards in iOS 8, but now I also come with a warning about the access you offer these packages to your terminals. Each dedicated keyboard has a menu where you can choose if you want to give it full access to what you type or if you want the data to be private and I think the message above explains quite clearly why you should NOT give full access to what you write.

If you choose to give these third-party keyboards full access to everything you type in iOS 8, then you risk that your data ends up on the servers of the developing companies, and here we include passwords, information about credit cards, etc. By default, the option is disabled and it would be better to leave it that way, because you can never know what the developers do with the data that reaches their servers.
