With the iPad Air 2, Apple is preparing to "kill" the SIM card

Last night I told you that iPad Air 2 this the first tablet in the world that will include a universal SIM card called Apple SIM, this replacing the classic SIM cards offered by mobile phone operators for customers. Apple SIMor Apple SIM card, is compatible with four mobile phone operators in the US and allows iPad tablet owners to choose any of their internet offers without installing a card of their own in the tablet, they can change the offers whenever they want without the slightest effort.

The new Apple SIM is preinstalled on iPad Air 2 with Wi-Fi + Cellular models. The Apple SIM gives you the flexibility to choose from a variety of short-term plans from select carriers in the US and UK right on your iPad. So whenever you need it, you can choose the plan that works best for you — with no long-term commitments. And when you travel, you may also be able to choose a data plan from a local carrier for the duration of your trip.

AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile from the US, plus EE from Great Britain, collaborates with Apple for this system, so the tablets sold by the company in the USA and Great Britain will have Apple SIM, Apple SIM card. The implementation of this new type of SIM is the first big blow given by the Apple company to normal SIM cards, because the implementation of this SIM in iPad tablets is a test made by the Apple company for the future implementation in the iPhone.

From 2015 there are very high chances that iPhone terminals will include this Apple SIM with support for many more mobile phone operators and thus we will no longer have to change cards to switch from one mobile phone operator to another. The transition from normal SIMs to Apple SIM will not be done immediately and will not be initially accepted by all mobile operators, but it will come in time and will make our lives easier.
