Apple is a company that sometimes makes some of the strangest decisions, and a recent one calls into question the American company's ability to provide its users with useful features just a few gestures away. Specifically, we are talking about Apple's decision to prohibit the publication in the App Store of applications that contain widgets that allow quick mathematical calculations, these widgets can be accessed in the Today section from anywhere in iOS.
Those from Apple specified in the documentation dedicated to widgets that widgets that require interaction in several steps cannot be published, and this includes the functionality offered by those in Calculator applications. Apple has notified multiple developers about this issue and will continue to deny publication to apps that don't follow its guidelines, although the decision itself isn't one of the greatest.
Apple has told me that Notification Center widgets on iOS cannot perform any calculations, and the current PCalc widget must be removed.
