Virtual Home 8 is the version for iOS 8 of a tweak about a year old, it being developed with the idea of allowing us to modify the functionality of the Touch ID that allows securing iDevices. Using the tweak we will be able to use single or multiple touches of Touch ID to block terminals, access the Siri task switcher or access the Reachability system. Moreover, the system contains a function called QuickUnlock that allows the quick unlocking of an iDevice by simply touching Touch ID, without pressing the Home button, as usual.
Use TouchID sensor as home button. Support the following actions: Single tap, Double tap, Short hold, Single tap and short hold. You can use those actions to do the following functions: Sleep, Multitask, open Siri and activate Reachability. Virtual Home also comes with a feature called "QuickUnlock". "QuickUnlock" allows you to unlock or wake up the device by touching the TouchID when the phone is in standby mode. It will consume more battery but Virtual Home comes with options to turn it off automatically after a period of inactivity.

Although the function Quick Unlock it will consume more battery than normal, you will still have the possibility to unlock your terminals quickly without using the Home button, the system being extremely useful especially for terminals that have Home buttons with problems. The good part is that there are options to automatically deactivate the system after a certain period of inactivity, and separately from these we have the option to block or unlock a terminal that does not have a security code set and many others.
Virtual Home will also unlock your device even if your device is not passcode locked – you can unlock your device by holding the TouchID instead of sliding to unlock. You can also disable Virtual Home inside any particular app. It has been tested to work with BioLockdown, iTouchSecure and other TouchID related tweaks. Requires iOS 8 and TouchID.
