Apple and how it could be used more easily directly from the iPhone (Video)

If you have ever wanted to have an Apple TV control system using a iPhone and a dedicated application, well a new concept shows us how this can be done. In the video clip above you can see a prototype for a dedicated Apple TV interface that can be controlled using touches and an iPhone application, the whole procedure being extremely simple.

Practically connecting an iPhone via AirPlay with a Apple TV, a user can control product interface exactly like any other application. If Apple implemented a similar control system in the Remote application, then it would offer users a much better user experience, and that without much effort.

Well, that's the whole idea. I thought it would be worth a shot, so I built a prototype using my iPhone and AirPlay. I don't know if it's the definitive answer for Apple TV interaction, but I found it to be better than what we have today.

Although the interface prototype has extremely low chances of becoming a reality, it would be interesting if Apple would at least try to do something similar for Apple TV. Controlling a digital product with a remote control instead of a system of gestures or touches of a touch screen is nowhere near as great as some present it, and Apple has an idea here to improve things.
