W 3D – the Android smartphone that can be transformed into a game console – CES 2015

W 3D CES 2015

W 3D is a smartphone Android presented at the CES 2015 by the Chinese company Snail Games, intending to bring users a versatile smartphone. Versatile actually means a smartphone that can be used mainly as a game console, having physical buttons to control the games without touching the screen, which does not have a touch panel mounted.

The interesting part of W 3D is that it has a 3D screen mounted that allows the display of images without using a pair of 3D glasses, so the games will be easily visible in almost any conditions. Of course, there must be games made especially for 3D screens of this kind, and for now they are available in very small numbers in Google Play, but that does not mean that they will not appear.

W 3D it has a 2.2 GHz processor and a screen with 1080i resolution, but the beautiful part is that it can be connected to a console called OBOX, it being manufactured by the same manufacturer. Through it, users can play any kind of games on a TV screen, the console being a hub that transmits the images from the terminal screens to the TVs in real time.

How successful W 3D will be remains to be seen, but for now there are no details regarding its availability or price.
