Siri voice commands are transmitted to third parties

Siri voice commands

If you use Crab in English, or in any other language around the world, then today you find out that some of the voice commands spoken by you during the interaction with Siri are sent to third-party companies for analysis. The information comes from an employee of such a company, having to analyze various voice commands to see if the information systems correctly recognize the words spoken by the users. Listening to various voice commands sent to his company, the employee realized that some of them came from the assistant Siri of iOS, but also from Google Now.

I started a new job today with Walk N'Talk Technologies. I get to listen to sound bites and rate how the text matches up with what is said in an audio clip and give feedback on what should be improved. I heard everything from kiddos asking innocent things like "Siri, do you like me?" to some guy asking Galaxy to lick his butthole. I wish I was kidding.

Walk N'Talk Technologies is the company to which the man is a former employee and it seems that they reach her for analysis, including voice commands sent to the assistant Cortana of Windows Phone, all without the users of these services knowing anything. Although probably many would have expected that Google or Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), to store recordings of spoken voice commands for Siri or Google Now, few would have imagined that they reach third companies. Although the voice commands are sent anonymously to these companies so that they cannot identify the users of the mobile terminals, the fact that they get there is a problem.

Unfortunately, we accept the provisions regarding the analysis of this data by third-party companies when we skip the documentation regarding the terms and conditions of use of Siri or Google Play. Unfortunately, even if we don't like them, there are no alternatives, because not accepting them requires giving up work completely, which few do.
