Apple Pay - this is how payments are made with Apple Watch

Apple Pay Apple Watch

Apple Watch will be presented live on Monday, and one of the important new functions prepared by the Apple company is the implementation of the possibility to make payments through Apple Pay. Yesterday, Eddy Cue participated in an Apple Pay launch event in an American stadium, and there he talked about how the system will work with Apple Watch. According to Apple's vice president, mobile payments made using Apple Pay and Apple Watch will not require the use of a PIN or authorization using Touch ID.

This function is only available as long as the watch is unlocked and is near an iPhone with which it is interconnected. Considering that the iPhone also unlocks the watch, the double authorization for making the payment is not necessary, so a simple double press on a side button of the Apple Watch will allow you to make the payment immediately. The interesting part is that Apple Pay will work with Apple Watch via iPhone 5, iPhone 5C or iPhone 5S, although none of the three terminals has an NFC module available.

Authorization of payments on these terminals will be done using a PIN code, except probably the iPhone 5S which has Touch ID, so even old users will be able to benefit from the system.
