How can I download the music purchased through iTunes?

I told you in the morning on how many iPhones or iPads you can install applications purchased from the App Store, and now I am answering another question asked by a user, this one having to do with music purchased through iTunes. If you ever wondered how you can download the songs bought through the Apple iTunes Store, well in this article you will find out a truth that you probably won't like.

Before starting, we must talk about the concept iTunes in the Cloud, being introduced by Apple together with iOS 5 and iCloud, it is the basis of the system for re-downloading many types of content from the iTunes Store. Using iTunes in the Cloud, a user can also download music, movies, TV shows, podcasts, books or applications previously purchased through iTunes, or downloaded when they were available for free.

This iTunes in the Cloud is available in a limited way in various countries around the world, so all countries with the iTunes Store have the service available for re-downloading applications or books, but the same is not true for music, movies or TV shows. According to Apple, in Romania we cannot re-download music, movies or TV shows from the iTunes Store (the last two not being available anyway), so the deleted music remains deleted.

Basically, if you happen to buy a song from the iTunes Store and do not save it on a computer, or if you delete the iTunes library on that computer, you will not be able to download it again for free from the iTunes Store, but you will have to buy it again. Yes, the situation itself is embarrassing, but in the 7 years of the App Store's existence, the Apple company has not managed to offer the possibility to download the purchased music again, and the Romanian legislation is probably to blame here.

As you can see in the image above, those from St. Kitts & Nevis enjoys the possibility of re-downloading its music from the iTunes Store, Russia, Qatar and Saudi Arabia as well, and our Moldovan brothers have the same benefits. Romania, unfortunately, remains without such an option, but also without the Movie Store that the Moldovans have and we can only wonder why they have more than us.

Unfortunately, the situation in Romania is not unique, and even long discussions with Apple will not solve much, so if you lose the purchased music, consider subscribing to an audio streaming service.
