iOS 9 – tells you how many minutes you used each application on the main screen

iOS 9 battery consumption screen applicationsIn iOS 9 the Apple company offers us important news for analyzing the way of using the battery of our terminals, so we will find out which applications consume the most when they are actually used and which ones are not. More precisely, in the attached image you can see how the "Battery Usage" section now looks, from the Battery menu of the Settings application, Apple including a new option for displaying some information under each application or function.

More precisely, now you will know what percentage of the battery each application or function consumed, but you will also know how long you used that application in the main screen to get an idea of how much consumption was made in the background. Of course, in iOS 9 Apple does not say what energy consumption was made in the background for each application, but at least we have the opportunity to see what consumption was made in the main screen.

The new option of iOS 9 is not perfect, but it is a step in the right direction to help us diagnose much more easily the applications that generate the highest battery consumption for our terminals. The new function of iOS 9 is accessible from the menu Configurations > Battery, Settings > Battery and can be activated through a visible button on the right side of the "Battery Usage" section.
