Apple Music will be part of the subscriptions of many mobile operators

Apple Music mobile phone subscriptionWeek a mobile operator included Apple Music in a list of audio streaming services that will benefit from free internet traffic on its network, and now we learn of a second operator that takes Apple Music into account.

Telstra, Australia's largest mobile operator, has launched a new offer for its current and future customers, offering us Apple Music free for 12 or 24 months when purchasing the terminal together with certain mobile phone subscriptions.

This is the first time Apple Music is included in the offer of an operator in such a format and the inclusion indicates that Apple follows this way, allowing the activation and payment of Apple Music directly in the mobile phone subscriptions, without obliging users to have a card attached to an Apple ID.

Apple and Telstra collaborate to transfer subscriber information from the operator's servers to Apple's and interconnect them to offer free Apple Music to Telstra customers and the same offer will also be available to many other mobile operators.

Considering that some operators already have partnerships with Spotify, Pandora, Deezer and many other local or international services, it will be interesting to see how many partners Apple will manage to convince to offer its service, but surely many will be interested.

Having said that, with the help of mobile operators, Apple will make Apple Music even more popular, but this will not be the only method to promote the service.
