Facebook Live streams video directly from Facebook

Facebook LiveFacebook Live is a new function launched today by the Facebook company, it has been awaited for several months by millions of users who will have to wait further because it is not currently dedicated to them.

Facebook Live is a competitor for the Periscope app and allows, for now, stars from all over the world to stream live through Facebook using the Facebook Mentions application that puts them in contact with fans from all over the world.

In the image above you see him Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, during a streaming made using Facebook Live and that's how all similar events will take place, users will be able to transmit anything live, while their friends will be able to join the discussions.

The only major difference compared to Twitter's Periscope lies in the fact that live stream recordings will be published directly on the Facebook page of the person making them, so that anyone will be able to see them if they could not participate live to the discussions.

We're excited to introduce a new way for you to connect and interact with your favorite public figures on Facebook — through live video. You can comment on, like or share the video while watching a live broadcast. You can also see when your friends or other public figures start watching.

Given that Facebook Live is currently only available to a limited number of stars in the US, no one knows how long it will take until the function will be offered directly through the Facebook application for iPhone or iPad, so you will have to be patient.
