According to Localytics, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus have an adoption rate of 1.9% in the first week after the launch versus iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus which had an adoption rate of 2.7% last year, the difference being 0.8% between the available terminal models.

Although everything looks bad for the Apple company, in reality the number of iPhone terminals increased by approximately 200 million units in the last year, so in reality iPhone 6S si 6S iPhone Plus it could have a higher adoption rate in a world with many more iPhones.

If we look at the figures from 2013, the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C had an adoption rate of 1.2% compared to the iPhone 5 which had an adoption rate of 3.1% the year before and we know that the first terminals had much higher sales in the end bigger than their predecessor.

Although adoption rates can give us some information about the success of some mobile terminals, it must be taken into account that these data compare different user bases, so the differences above could be in favor of new terminals and not against them.

Moving now to the degree of use of iPhones, iPhone 6 remains king with 33.2% of users, followed by iPhone 5S with 23.2%, iPhone 5 with 11.2% and iPhone 6 Plus with 9.9%, iPhone 6S having for now only 1.5%, 6S iPhone Plus having only 0.4%.

iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus sold 13 million units in just three days and it seems that they will be the most "successful" mobile terminals in the history of the Apple company, but it remains to be seen what the future interest will be dream of them.
