Performance test for all iPads released so far

iPad performance testAll tablets iPad launched so far by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), they appear for the first time in an extended performance test that aims to show us how much the technical characteristics have evolved in the 5 years of the existence of this type of tablet.

In practice, in the video clip below you will see a comparison of the performances between: iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2, iPad 1, iPad Mini 4, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 2 and iPad Mini 1, the differences between them being quite clear even without seeing a real comparison.

To be completely honest, it is amazing how much the processing power of iPad tablets has evolved, and this in the conditions that the Apple company has been using dual-core processors in most tablets for 4 years, the exception to the rule being the iPad Air 2, iPad Pro having a dual-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz.

The interesting part is that we have 8 times more RAM in the iPad Pro than in the iPad 1, Apple using 512 MB RAM in the first generation of its tablet and 4 GB RAM in the latest iPad model, and the differences are enormous.
